A summary of the Small Business Account Trading Terms & Conditions. The PDF is the binding version.

Account status

  • Granted only after our review and written approval. Approval is not automatic.
  • Meridius can review, suspend or withdraw the account at any time if the conditions are not met.
  • Your signed acceptance page is needed to open or keep the account.

Purchasing

  • Minimum €3,000 in every rolling 12 months.
  • Minimum €200 per order and at least two orders in every rolling 12 months.
  • Orders below €200 are charged at standard trade prices.
  • Performance review every six months. Benchmark: €1,500 per six months.

Payment

  • New accounts start on 100% prepayment.
  • After a good trading and payment history, Meridius may grant up to 15-day credit, confirmed in writing.
  • Credit can be reduced or withdrawn at any time, for example after a late payment. Orders are then paid in advance again.
  • Late payment: interest 9 percentage points above the Bundesbank base rate, plus the €40 lump sum under §288 BGB.

Orders and prices

  • An order is binding only after our written confirmation. Confirmed orders cannot be cancelled without our written agreement.
  • All prices exclude VAT and may change with costs outside our control, e.g. exchange rates or materials.
  • Samples are charged at the pro-rata price.
  • Small Business prices and conditions are confidential. Sharing them can end the account.

Delivery and claims

  • Delivery dates are approximate.
  • Check every delivery: report damage or shortages within 2 working days, noted on the delivery note.
  • Risk passes to you on delivery. The goods remain Meridius property until paid in full.

Returns

  • Orders cannot be returned, except for defective goods.
  • Report defects within 3 days and send a sample at your cost. Returns need our prior approval and an RMA form.

Law

  • German law applies. Courts in Germany have jurisdiction.

  2. Sign and return the contract

    Download the 2026 Trading Terms, print and sign them, and upload the signed contract in the form.

  3. We review and confirm

    We check every application personally and reply, usually within one business day.

  4. Order at business prices

    Log in and your prices appear in the shop. Your first orders are prepaid.

Questions

How do I get the free welcome pack?

Once your Small Business Account is approved, place your first order of €200 net or more (excl. VAT). The Meridius Welcome Pack with five needle types is added to your cart automatically and free of charge. One pack per account.

What happens if I buy less than €3,000 a year?

We review every account every six months. If purchases stay below the benchmark, future orders may be charged at standard trade prices.

Why are the first orders prepaid?

All new accounts start on prepayment. After a good trading and payment history, we can grant up to 15-day credit.

Can I return products?

Business orders cannot be returned, except for defective goods. Report defects within 3 days and we arrange a replacement or refund.

Do I have to return the signed contract?

Yes. Print the Trading Terms, sign them and upload the signed contract (PDF, JPG or PNG) in step 3 of the application. Applications without the signed contract cannot be sent. We keep your signed contract on file and email you a confirmation.
